The chapter no longer uses the Pledging model, therefore there are no longer pledges. Any man invited to join Co Gamma must be worthy of all privileges and responsibilities of being a SigEp on Day 1. The chapter has a membership development program that enriches the member and the chapter, but specifically answering the house phone doesn't really benefit either. I'm sure the guys at the chapter still have a good time at Co Gamma, but the experience has been a bit different for the last 10 years.
Still, you should stop by the house and talk to the guys. I'm guessing you'll find more similarities than differences between your Co Gamma experience and the current active brothers' experience. It's still about building brotherhood that lasts a lifetime, supporting your brothers through the best and worst of times, and having a great time at CSU.
