- A member who misses an intramural game will be fined five dollars which will automatically be applied to the member’s chapter account.
- Members who are ejected from an intramural game will be fined ten dollars and suspended from that sport for the remainder of the season.
- A member ejected from a game must write an apology to the intramural department and Colorado Gamma chapter, and must also reimburse the house for the intramural for the intramural he participated in.
- Members who are ejected from two games will be fined thirty dollars and suspended from all intramurals for the remainder of the semester.
House Duties
Every member is expected to complete house duties on time, every time.
- If a member does not complete his house duty in the allotted week, then he will be assigned double duties the following week.
- If the member chooses not to perform the assigned double duties, he will be fined ten dollars for each week it takes to complete them.
Financial Responsibilities
Meeting financial commitments to the chapter are a responsibility of brotherhood. Without diligence by each member regarding timely payments, all activities of the organization as well as the great 121 E Lake Chapter House are put in jeopardy.
- There are three due dates each semester for regular membership and room/board dues. Special assessments for additional/optional activities (e.g., Formals) will be due at least one week prior to the event if the member is attending.
- A late fee equaling 4% of the outstanding past due balance will be assessed on the second and third regular dues due dates which will be applied to the brother's chapter account after a three day grace period.
- If a member’s dues are not received within 15 days of a given due date, immediate action will be taken. The following actions will occur when a member is 15 days overdue until his balance is current:
- The member will be called to the MRB to discuss why payment has not been received, and agree to a plan to resolve the issue.
- The member will lose dining privileges at the house.
- The member will go on social probation and be prohibited from attending any social functions.
- If payment is not received within 30 days of the original due date, members living in the house will receive a legal notice and may be evicted from the chapter house. Eviction will depend on the legitimacy of the member’s financial issues, how forthright the member is with MRB, and on if a good faith effort is made to address their financial responsibility to the chapter.
- When brought in front of the MRB, the member must have their own financial plan prepared, which will then be approved or denied. If approved it will be signed by the member, Chaplain, and VP of Finance.
Conduct Unbecoming a SigEp
A SigEp is a Gentleman toward ladies, brothers, and all others. For conduct unbecoming a SigEp (e.g., fighting, etc.)...
- Member is immediately placed on social probation
- Member will undergo membership review
- Member Review Board will determine the length of social probation and may assess a fine or impose other remedies as deemed appropriate.
