Bachelor Auction
The Bachelor Auction is a philanthropy held by and for Colorado State University students and hosted by Sigma Phi Epsilon, to raise money for local and national charities. The Bachelor Auction at CSU was the brainchild of SigEp Scott Harris in the fall semester of 1998 and the first bachelor auction was held that November. Scott came up with the idea, built support for it in the SigEp chapter, promoted, and MC'd the event that first year. Scott selected Catholic Charities Northern as the beneficiary of the innaugeral bachelor auction.
The event was extremely successful and popular in its very first year and has continued as a tradition at CSU each year since. This fall will be the 12th annual Bachelor Auction at CSU, hosted by Sigma Phi Epsilon.
The event is very popular among sororities at CSU, but also CSU co-eds in general and all CSU students are welcomed. The featured bachelors in the Bachelor Auction have included CSU's best and brightest over the last decade, including CSU football, baseball, and basketball stars as well as exemplary Greek men from a variety of houses.
