AVC
The Colorado Gamma of Sigma Phi Epsilon Alumni & Volunteer Corporation (AVC) exists to support the undergraduate chapter of SigEp at Colorado State University. Previously called the "Alumni Board", the AVC is still largely comprised of SigEp alumni but is inclusive to community members and parents interested in adding value to the SigEp undergraduate brothers' college experience.2009 Alumni & Volunteer Council

Communication and Involvement
The AVC will support the chapter and operate in person through formal meetings, as well as, remotely through e-mail and phone calls. There are varying levels of involvement required depending on the time of year and tasks that require completion by each AVC member.
Meetings
Formal AVC Meetings
- The AVC will meet at the chapter facility at least 2 times per semester.
- The AVC will meet with the chapter executive board and any chapter members interested in attending.
- The meeting will include two parts.
- AVC & Chapter Executive board session to discuss chapter/alumni related topics.
- AVC Only session, to discuss alumni board matters related to facility, finance, communications, scholarship, and any chapter affairs requiring review.
Informal Meetings
- The AVC members may meet informally or as sub committees to discuss or accomplish matters as necessary.
Internal AVC Communications
- The AVC can communicate amongst each other through the e-mail using the Yahoo Group and requires membership to send and receive messages. This allows for all board members to be included in all communications
External AVC Communications
- The AVC can communicate to the chapter or other entities using the AVC e-mail box. This common e-mail box allows the AVC to have a common face to external parties and can be checked by AVC board members.
Chapter Member Communications
- The chapter maintains a yahoo group, which the AVC has post only capabilities. By sending messages from the AVC mailbox to the chapter yahoo group, it will go to all current chapter members.
