To Buy or Not to Buy
:ad200 I will be relocating to Denver and while attracted to Brooks Tower, think I am going to write it off my list. I just can't see why the HOA fees are so high. Having been a condo president in the past, I think I have some perspective on this. Perhaps someone would post the annual budget and auditor's report (you do have an independent audit each year I hope).

Agreed, I can't figure out why the HOA fees are so high either. There is an annual audit, but I'm not sure how "independent" it is. There are some great things about Brooks Tower, but there needs to be a changing of the guard.

Its mis managed due to political and personal interests. I have lived in the building for over 5 years and still am frustrated with the HOA and management, yet love the building and location. The poor management will never change as long as these interests interfere. The owners need to lobby for a 3rd party agency to turn things around.
