You have reached the home page for the Lasting Words project. This project is to collect thoughts and reflections on my spiritual journey with the intent to publish a book of my life experiences.This project allows me to capture thoughts in small manageable pieces that I will later be able to string together into a story that others can enjoy.
This is especially dedicated to my son. I have a chronic illness that looms over me. Even though I believe I will have a long life I often think about what will be said about me when I am gone. As I thought this through I realized that eulogies are for the living not the dead and what I was truly striving to capture was what did I want to say to my son as my 'last words'. That is why the title of the book is now referenced as 'Lasting Words' meaning the messages I hope will have lasting meaning for my son.
