Colorado History Museum
Constructed in 1977, the Colorado History Museum preserves a collection of historic and prehistoric artifacts and documents from Colorado's past.Many artifacts from Mesa Verde were given the Colorado Historical Society in 1893 by the Wetherill brothers and are displayed in the Colorado History Museum.
The history of the 10th Mountain Division is a featured exhibit. Visitors can learn about this elite unit that began in Colorado and find out about the incredible accomplishments of the 10th Mountain Division soldiers after their service.
