Appaloosa Grill

The Appaloosa Grill is a great stop for live music that outdoes the small setting. Located on the 16th Street Mall at the intersection of Glenarm, this bar and grill breaks the mold of what you'd expect from 16th street. It has the character of a lodo club without the attitude.

If you go into Appaloosa for their nightly live music, you'd never know that this is also a great lunch choice. The atmosphere is cozy, with custom lighting and oversized candles burning at the bar, and the clientelle are just there to enjoy the music, not to impress each other.The Broken Everly's, pictured here, entertain the crowd on a weekly basis at Appaloosa.

While they are little louder than the funk and jazz bands that play Appaloosa, their song selection will certainly bring back some great memories for you. Don't miss Appaloosa Grill if your on the upper side of downtown, weeknight or weekend, its an enjoyable denver venue.

In 2007, Appaloosa underwent a minor expansion when they took over a small retail space next door to the grill and turned it into additional dining/seating. The exterior wall on the is now a glass wall looking into the small indoor shopping plaza.

you haven't seen Oakhurst on Thursday nights, check it out!
