The Met
The Met
The Metropolitan Museum of Art, or "The Met" as it is commonly referred to, is one of the most revered museums in the world.

From July 1st to September 21st, 2008, the Met featured a special exhibition of J.M.W. Turner. It was the first time Turner's work had been featured in the U.S. in more than 40 years and it featured more than 140 paintings and watercolors. Turner's paintings consistently present a very saturated and deep color palette while most have a focal point that is bright and surreal.
